Any reports on Indigo Diaz?

Guy is flying up through the system. 27th rounder from 2019. Tremendous size. Here is talking chops write-up on their top prospect list under 'just missed':

Diaz has every bit of the talent needed to be a late inning reliever at the major league level. He was a steal in the 27th round. His fastball can run up to 98 mph and he has extremely high spin rates that allow him to succeed even when he leaves the pitch over the plate. His command leaves something to be desired, but he’s making some strides in that department and is generally around the plate. He rarely allows solid contact and his fastball misses so many bats he made a mockery of A ball. He has flashed an improved curveball, but it’s inconsistent and can get a bit loopy. He has a real shot to be a late inning reliever if he can improve the consistency of the pitch as the shape of it pairs well with the action on his fastball. When he tightens the spin and throws it harder it really jumps on guys.}

He’s definitely interesting. An actually credible site like Baseball America has him #19 in our system.

A career-high 6.1 scoreless innings,12 K's, one walk for Spencer Strider tonight.

Sitting 95-98, and touching 99.

Looks like all our draft guys are active now except the high profile pitchers — Cusick, Shawver-Smith, Shoemaker and even Dodd. And obviously Schwellenbach.

I've updated you guys on Diaz numerous times. Looks like I got to start talking about peoples mom!

Bring it back then.

This guy is making a mockery of the minor leagues. I’d like to see what he can do before the playoff roster finalizes.

Seems like Harris' and Franklin's ops are plunging. Franklin still on the good side of .800 with a poor BA. Harris on the wrong side of .800 with a really good BA.

Here you go thethe.

About Diaz :
He's the real deal so far that my untrained eyes can tell. Ball seems to explode with a rising type action. They say he hits 99 regularly, I guesstimated 95-96( BA also says he his 98 regularly but I dumbed it down) His slider (BA called it a curve)or whatever wasn't show stopping but to me or wasn't even necessary except to show. He could have thrown that FB all night.

He defintely projects as a lights out reliever, but he's not far from having commands issues. He'll have to iron out spotting his FB, but he is fun to watch.

And another I posted similar:
Starting pitching development must be getting to a few of unheralded draft picks. He was drafted in the 27th round a few seasons ago but was non descript to awful at Michigan St. He threw hard but no results until he was made the closer.

I saw him in May. He pitched a couple of innings and struck out 3 or 4 I think that game. I thought the batters had a hard time squaring him up and picking up his release point because everything was rising up in the zone. It looked explosive and I could be wrong but I think he was 95-96....threw strikes, I remembered that!

We have a lot of really good prospects to keep an eye and with the international sanctions over I expect AA will start loading up there too.

Yeah. I'm really hoping we ink Diego Benitez. I think he's in this class. He was originally coveted by the Yankees but the lowballed him at the last minute. I haven't heard anything else but the Yankees fans wanted him bad.
