JUNE PLAYERS OF THE MONTH

Hitter: You might consider it a slam dunkk that this goes to Shea Langeliers, who at Mississippi hit 9 home runs for the month, driving in 16 with a .250 average in 22 games.
So if you want, yuou can call it co-players of the month with Jesse Franklin, who showed he is a flat-out stud in June. The 2020 third round pick out of Seattle via U. of Michigan hit .393 for the month with 8 homers and 16 RBIs to go with a .464 OBP. The icing on this tasty cake is going 6-for-6 in stolen bases for the month.

Pitcher: He lost his AAA debut, but before his promotion, Nolan Kingham went 3-0, 0.83 over five Mississippi starts in June. He allowed onlu 23 hit in 33 innings, striking put 20 while walking just four.

Is Jesse Franklin someone who could be considered a future "answer" at the big league level?

He came in pretty hyped... there were a number of people excited we got him in the 3rd round. This is his first professional ball and he's doing really well. Way too early to know if he's any kind of "answer" but he's about to climb the prospect rankings pretty substantially.
