Fried to the injured list, potentially out for the year

The #Braves today recalled LHP Dylan Dodd to Atlanta and placed LHP Max Fried on the 15-day injured list, backdated to July 18, with left forearm neuritis.
 
Crazy. This just isn’t our year it seems. Fried, Strider, and Acuna all out. And several of our offensive guys are playing at career worsts.
 
Should the Braves look at the medical/training staff?? I mean the year ending injuries on top of the obliques and hammies. Seems to be more than just ****ty luck. Kerr also gone for year. AJSS was down for a while. Seems everyone is getting injured this year.

Probably training staff. Harris coming in like porky the pig is a clue

A break from what? They've pushed back starts for these guys multiple times to get them an xtra days rest...We just need to come to the realization that Fried is a pussy and will be oft injured. Do not sign that mfer...let him go out West.
 
Has it been beaten into our heads yet why long term deals for SPs are a bad idea?

The next time someone says AA should give any pitcher a 5+ year deal, let’s all agree to beat them over the head with ridiculing posts for a week.

In the same frame of thought, any pitcher that turns down a long term extension is pretty dumb IMO
 
I kkow it says the MRI was clean but if it turns out to be TJ then Fried may have to take a 1 year pillow deal to prove hes healthy and that would be his age 32 season. He should have taken the money when it was offered.
