What do you all make of it?

Seems like more ineptitude of the government to identify a severe threat to me.
 
I know - It didn't happen in the US so it doesn't matter.

But hey - These are reasonable people that we just need to bend over backwards for to satisfy.

Can you please share the other times in the last 20 years that an attack was perpetrated by neo-nazis and white supremacists that lead to deaths?

Do you want to compare to the amount that have been killed in the name of Islam?

Sorry I haven't had time to pay a lot of attention to the fallout from the Fort Lauderdale shooting. It does seem like the government dropped the ball (again) but maybe this article will help.

Wow - Really difficult to get even three instances.

Its very easy to paint with a broad brush when there are literally a hundred + instances of worldwide terrorism inspired by Islam just in the last 5-10 years.

Anyone who doesn't see that is just willfully being ignorant.
 
You could have said the same about the IRA. If memory serves we never damned the Catholic religion.

I just think it foolish lumping millions if not a billion people in wth hundreds.

I have yet to see you offer any solutions for this issue. . At some point you have to offer a viable solution to this "threat"

Here are my solutions:

1) End of all immigration of known Muslims to the US (and I hope that the rest of the Western World will follow)
2) Monitor all mosques whether through communication detection or direct observation
3) Go on the offensive and eradicate all known terrorists strongholds around the world. THis needs to be a joint effort and I think that Russia would be on board with this as well.

This won't stop 100% of terror but it would significantly reduce it.

Is the IRA a problem currently globally? Do you understand your comparisons aren't even close?
 
Those aren't solutions they are the rantings from Drunk Uncle on SNL.

Solutions are things that could feasibly happen .

1) we aren't going to ban Muslims. It would not pass constitutional muster
2) that would also fall under the 1st amendment
3) I kinda think that has been underway since 2001

...

Tell me, what is it you like about USA -- .

The constitution doesn't apply to non-US citizens. As a country we have banned forms of immigration before and we will do it again.

How does monitoring of mosques prevent Muslims from practicing Islam?

It needs to continue and foolish things like letting known terrorists go needs to stop.

If we want to solve this unique issue we are going to have to come up with unique solutions. Anyone who says otherwise doesn't actually want to address the #1 issue facing world peace in the future.
 
This dude was a nut job. Probably some form of ptsd since he was alright when he left. Unfortunately it's hard to prevent this kind of stuff.

I guarandamntee your plan would create more domestic US Muslim terrorists. Doing that to any group would radicalize some of them.
