Very interested to see Didier in action.

Even more exciting are the statcast numbers from Strider's AAA start. FA averaged 95.9 with 18.4" of rise, including several at 97+ with 20" of rise. It can not be overstated how much of an impact having Strider at anything resembling peak form will make.
 
Perez to starrrt Thursday. Then Holmes/Friday, Elder/Saturday, Sale Sunday. Lines up Sale to get extra rest for a few starts and lines him up for game 1 vs Dodgers.
 
The velo is still far off from peak Strider. What’s been noticeable is the lack of whiffs on the fastball. Hope that returns.

Imagine how good he’ll be once he finishes ramping up.

Maybe the strained oblique or whatever it was did good helping him take a few more weeks of extent spring training.
