I've thought 7 guys were locks for the pen (Minter, Viz, Venters, Winkler, O'Day, Freeman and Biddle). And the last slot down to Sobotka or Carle. With an outsider like Bud Norris a possibility. Sobotka is obviously the high upside choice. His walk rates have been too high. If he is able to bring that down, it would be yuge.
Where do you slot Kimbrel in there.

Kimbrel we can sign mid-June after he holds out long enough so that signing him doesn't cost us a pick.
I was thinking we were gonna collude with him on that. I actually was wondering if there was a date deadline that if he signed before the draft but after a certain day we wouldn't lose the pick. Or if we signed him after the draft would Boston get a comp pick for 2020 instead.

or maybe we sign him for the playoffs so that he can get in a couple innings against the Dodgers...his arm would be fresh...we could also sign Fredi as his personal bullpen catcher
