Wright will be in our rotation this year

There's certainly alot of options, even if we assume Soroka isnt, you have Fried, Newk, Touki, Wright, Gohara for 2 spots if you assume Gaus, Folty, JT are 1-3.

Wright: 2IP 2H 0R 0BB 3K's

gave up a double and a hard single to short after getting 2 outs in the 2nd...assuming his day is over...

do you think it says anything that Teheran was switched late last week from making today's start at STL to stay home and pitch in a simulated game? All I know is i'm sure those hitters are probably having a good day at the plate.

Listening to some on radio. Cards broadcast. He seemed to be dealing. The single by Bader probably should have been an error. I didn’t hear double. Not sure if bloop or hard hit

I think it says he is a veteran and didn't wanna take a bus ride...

3 K and 0 BB in 2 IP

It's obviously silly to scout the stat line of the 5th ST game, but it's nice to finally see a young Braves pitcher appear to dominate in a ST game.

Needless to say, Wright is a guy I want to see a lot more data about:

http://www.chopcountry.com/forums/showthread.php?t=8626

So we have a guy with a horridly straight fastball on both planes despite a good spin rate, a slow slider with elite movement, a cutter with off the charts sink, and a change that hovers around plus. I've analyzed hundreds of pitches from dozens of pitchers, and I've never seen anything like it. When I started this post the FA movement had me extremely discouraged, but that FA coupled with the crazy movement on everything else might end up being effective.

I have no idea how to view Wright, so all I can do is take a wait and see approach.

It was announced this was being done to save Teheran from making the bus trip. Veterans perk.

Wright, Gohara, Tookie, and Soroka have the highest ceilings.

Glad to see one of them come in and throw well.

I feel like the construction guys from Major League reading this MILB lineup after Camargo...

"Who the F--- are these guys?"

Pretty much lol, i'm much more interested in the people pitching. Most of these offensive players minus Ronnie, Ozzie and Johan wont make the team.
