GDT 04/02/25 Braves @ Dodgers

I say we break out and put 5 on Snell. Curse has to break at some point. Might as well be on the night our worst starter gets the ball.
 
The Dodgers are 7-0, may break the MLB season W record, and just traded peanuts for the fastest man in baseball to be a pinch running weapon.

These franchises aren't playing the same sport.

"AA" is a joke and should be fired.
 
I guess I had never considered the Dodgers acquiring Esteury Ruiz as potential for a referendum on AA. That's on me

After tonight's loss, they'll finally go home to face a red-hot Marlins team and the Phillies over the next six games as the only team without a win and a ton of pressure to perform for the home crowd. Not ideal.

As lifeless as this team has looked to begin the season, I can easily see them being 0-13 at the end of this upcoming week. Maaaybe they can squeak out a win or two if Sale and Schwelly can limit 2 runs or less in their starts and an actual bullpen shows up in support. But that only leaves them at 2-11 best case scenario in my mind. Gross.

This was always going to be the issue.. Everyone keeps saying, but when Acuna and Strider get back.. yeah, but how far gone are you at that point.. heck, has there been any Acuna updates yet?? Even when Strider returns, you still have Holmes and AJSS going 2 out of 5 games.

I think I assumed the offense would return to something better than last year's misery, even if not approaching 2023, holding down the fort until Acuna and Strider show up to bring them back to being one of the elite teams in the league. But Jobu have mercy, the offense is even worse than last year. Honestly didn't think that could happen, BABIP side-eye notwithstanding.

After making the playoffs last year with what happened I won't rule anything out till we are eliminated and we're a long way from that.
