GDT 04/16/21: Braves Set To Win Bigly At Wrigley

Was away from my phone. But why hit and run with 8th place hitter. Seems you would want to clear the pitcher if nothing else. Or still have a guy on second with a pinch hitter.

It wasn't a hit and run on a 3-2 count, but the ultimate objective should have been to clear the pitcher's spot for sure. Swanson was going to score on a hit from 2nd anyways.

All and all a dumb move, as is usually the case with SB attempts.

Now Wright is pulled after facing 3 batters in the 5th. If that's all the leash he had, Swanson should have stayed put at 2nd so someone like Panda could hit with men on base.

These moronic moves where Snit punts PAs so the SP can face a few more batters is getting old.

Braves definitely need to keep Acuna in RF. Don't want Acuna pulling a Griffey/Andruw/Murphy in his early 30s. CF kills your knees/legs

Is Newk's velocity way down from his first couple of outings? He's not being used that much.

MLB is saying he's low 90s. He was high 90s when performing well.

will the braves put Waters or Harris on the 40 man?

Harris is the darling but I think he has like 100 more at bats as a pro than I do.
