GDT: 07/22/2013: Braves at Mets Jason Playing in CF

If Heyward loved baseball, he would've caught that standing or on the run. If he wasn't so lazy, he wouldn't had to have dove for that ball.

In all seriousness, Jason was in right center and he caught that ball in left center. That is something only Andruw could have done when he was 180 lbs.

That play in CF by Heyward makes you wonder why we even went out and got a CF this offseason.

In fairness, Andruw would've been playing in left-center for that pitch.

That Heyward catch reminded me of a game in 2002 in Montreal with Glavine on the mound. Andruw completely laid out in left-center to save the game on the last play of the game.

Anyone else remember that catch? It was on the old turf too, so it's almost like he just burned.

Close the web gems for the night: Jason Heyward with a game-saving diving catch. Amazing.

I definitely remember that catch. Andruw saved a 2-0 shutout for Glavine, I believe.

As your Tealc would say, indeed.

...but are you trying to tell me that Andruw didn't finish his career at 180? :YDS:
