GDT 10/12/21: Braves vs Brewers - NLDS Game 4

Lots of baseball left but you can’t let a dude that terrible have the two biggest hits for Milwaukee. Embarrassing
 
Tough to blame Snit for not going pen game just knowing how Ynoa had been throwing and now seeing this. and frankly tough to really blame him for giving him a shot at the 4th. This is what happens when you go into the long pen...Morton was slowing down but didn't look horrible either in the 3rd and pitch count was reasonable
 
This is why we wanted to force the Brewers to stack the lineup up RHHs by using a LHP opener.

Snit has zero tactical chops.
 
When you have so many LH pitching options and you somehow still don't manage to ever get the advantage against LH hitters in middle of lineup...
 
I've spent 30 years watching Braves try to squeeze a win out of pitcher on short rest and it never goes well.

Maybe because playoff pitchers on short rest in playoffs perform like 4th or 5th starters on average?

If Morton had a short hook might have worked out fine though.
