GDT 10/12/22: Braves vs Philthies - NLDS Game 2

This is frankly excellent for us…. All the pressure is on Philly, they have a tiger by the tail at the moment and they know it…..they have extra hours to ponder the potential for getting blown out on prime time TV…
 
Dry air working in faster than expected. I bet they could play earlier but I’m guessing they will stick with the 730 ish start time since it was already announced
 
I’m just glad I’m near the stadium. It’s a Red Roof Inn but you don’t have to pay to park and I can get work done and monitor the weather for 60.

It’s actually not bad. Every time I’ve stayed here the owner puts me in the room right next to the one he keeps for himself . It’s actually pretty decent. I used to stay at some other hotels around the stadium but their rates are much higher than they used to be and I’m not fussy.

I've stayed there too. Certainly not the nicest place I've been, but the location was good and I survived

Thanks for keeping the board updated, man…I find myself referring to you and no longer relying on the sensationalized weather channel app.

It’s a good app but there’s only so much a computer algorithm can do when you’re forecasting for a single point
 
Ok boys ….. let’s get those Coors Lights popping … we got an ace pitcher to pound on for his evil sins of agreeing to play for Philly.
 
Read that Smoltz is getting criticized for favoring the Braves in he telecasts.... Sure fooled me.

Seems like he is unhappy when the Braves do well.
