GDT 10/16 NLCS Game 5 - Minty Hippo FTW

Dodgers counter with...

Betts (R)
Seager (L)
Turner (R)
Muncy (L)
Smith (R)
Bellinger (L)
Pollock (R)
Pederson (L)
Taylor (R)

This is about as balanced as a lineup can get, so the plan for Minter isn't entirely obvious. I suspect he will pitch until he faces a RHH with a pitch count of 25+, and probably sits down no more than once.

So through Muncy or Bellinger with an outside chance of going through Pederson.

After that who knows. As others have mentioned, giving Wright a time through the lineup may be defensible, but I think Tomlin gets some run instead.

Even giving Wright 1 inning might be worth it. We need him to remember he can do this before he's starting game 3 of the WS. Maybe not, but if you're going to try it, tonight is the night to do it.

The most batters Minty Hippo has faced this year is 6.

In 2020 he has thrown 36 pitches, 32, 29, 24 twice, and 23 twice. He has also completed 1.2 and 1.1 innings once each this year.

So he seems like a lock tonight for 25+ pitches and at least 6 batters. I imagine if AJ is at ~20 pitches through Bellinger he gets to face Pollock and Pederson.

I doubt he gets to throw a pitch in the 3rd under any circumstance, but if he gets through Bellinger with like 20 pitches he could certainly go out for the 3rd.

taco dip, guac, and pulled pork sound great. i'm well-known for my guac, but i'd allow it from an outsider in my house. call me jerry falwell

i didn't do much research on samsung solely because my cousin said his plays ads just from the TV itself, and then i read similar complaints. figured i can't go wrong with sony tho

I like my 52” Sony, and it has performed well for going on eight years now.
