GDT 10/16 NLCS Game 5 - Minty Hippo FTW

The Ozuna base running error really did seem to change the tide last night. '

We have to jump out early tonight. If we lose the game tonight, I really do feel we lose the series. This will go down as one of the worst playoff series losses in Braves history.
 
Both of our losses this series have started with a challenge not going our way. Game 3 had the overturned out call at 1B to Betts which lead to the 11 run inning. This game had the overturn of Ozuna’s boneheadedness and then the overturn of the HBP which actually would have been better for us if it had stayed a HBP.
 
I had bad feelings about both thread and game.

I stated way back when that the Braves would not have a review go their way in this series. The Ozuna base running blunder sank the Braves mood. You could feel it and see it in the energy of their play. The only real positive energy I saw after that was Camargo's BB and him imploring his team mates to get going.
 
It's quite obvious at this point that this series hinges directly on me watching/not watching. I watched al the brave wins start to finish. I missed 95% of the first dodger win, and 100% of last night's game. I'm not sure if I'll be able to watch this afternoon yet. Sorta doubt it though with my wife and I out of town on anniversary weekend. Man up braves... you don't need me to hold your hand to a win.

Well the blow out was during a HS family member's playoff volleyball game... fun, fun. Last night was driving. 2020 has my priorities out of whack letting family come before the braves. Maybe I'll get drunk and start a fight today to go watch the game in the hotel... not really, they'll take care of it without me today.

First mistake was getting married to someone who would not watch braves baseball with you....

The biggest mistake was not calling Will Smith out on the clear strike out the pitch before he hit the homer. I get Smith was wild but you have to call those. The Braves probably win had the ump done his job.
 
Okay, I have been negative enough about last nights loss...Let's pull out all the stops tonight. And if we win those will be the only things pulling out.

We need Jobu, scent of Emma, and the Keith Lockhart pictures. Lets go!
 
My crystal ball isn't clear on which game, but it is clear on one thing, Acuna will win one of these games. Sit back and enjoy, Acuna is on the way.

Last year I tried to break the Braves playoff curse by not watching because it really felt all season when I turned on the game something bad always happened. I watched 2 innings of the 2019 playoffs. When they were close to clinching in game 4 I turned it on to promptly see us lose the game. Then I was hyped for game 5 and watched the first inning......
