GDT 10/18/2020 - Game 7 vs Dodgers

Lack of baserunners back half of this game also hurts because we were tracking to have big hitters all get 5 AB's and unless we have a big rally, that is not happening
 
Look at the terrible hitting luck in this game. Freeman hits a home run if the ball was just hit a little higher where Betts can't make a fantastic play. That hard hit ball by Nick which should have scored a couple of base runners but instead a weird DP occurs.

Definitely does feel like we've had some sh*t A$$ luck, albeit tonight Dodgers also a ton of hard hit outs
 
Given their awful blunder earlier that likely cost 1-2 runs, Riley and Swanson both better hit homers next inning.

I posted this in the other thread but:

The reality is that the Dodgers are a really good team. Even in a short season, you don't win 70% of your games if that's not the case. We had to play nearly perfect baseball to beat them but instead we choked away a 3-1 lead.

I haven't seen much bad luck, but we definitely haven't had any WTF plays that have gone our way. No breaks. To beat a better team you need some weird stuff to happen in your favor.
