Honestly I’d rather have Iglesias and Minter ready and available to be deployed in the highest leverage spots. Putting Jansen in the closers role actually protects him by giving him a clean inning.

Jansen is probably unavailable. I wouldnt say Iggy is, he only threw 11 pitches last night and 13 on Friday. Not that crazy, never know though.

Looking at ozuna recently I’m not losing sleep on him over Contreras. But I’m just not convinced Rosario vs ozuna defense is big enough to warrant effectively choosing Rosario over Contreras.

Contreras really needs to learn to play left field this off-season and plan to get at least 30 starts a year in left next year

The catcher platoon has been effective. Gives Contreras and Travis rest. DH rotates. We just need Acuña to be healthy and not be DH'ing.
