GDT 10/2/22: Braves vs Mutts - The Deciding Game

May was pretty nasty that inning. Buck was smart for pulling Bassit.

May has a 5.25 era, and I don't think the braves could score on him if he told us the pitch and we had 4 strikes. He owns us... he's the pitcher version of bohm

IIRC they didn't create the wildcard because of the Giants in '93. They did it in 1995 to create interest in the game coming out of the 1994 strike. Each league went from two divisions to three and they moved the Braves to the east (where they should've been all along) from the NL West where they'd been since 1969.

They did it after 93 because that’s when it went to three divisions.

I know you right, but boy, I loved those old nl west games
