GDT 10/20/21: Braves @ Dodgers - NLCS Game 4

I feel bad for Chavez.

Dude warmed up like 7 times yesterday. Then had to pitch in the 8th.

Now he's opening.

I actually would have loved to have seen Smyly tonight if we had closed that game out last night. Let him and Ynoa eat 6-7 innings, rest guys for Game 5, or if you were still in it, play to win it the last two or three innings.
 
Hopefully the Braves get a couple runners on base in the top of the 1st.

Chavez pitches the bottom of the 1st, gets through 3-5 batters.

Braves get to Chavez' spot in the top of the 2nd, PH for him.

Smyly comes in for the bottom of the 2nd to face the lineup stacked with LHHs.

That's not a terrible scenario for the BP game of the series.
 
It's newcomb time game 5. He's gonna finish the no-hitter this time.

Only took twit three games that the dodgers are basically going to keep throwing LHP at the top of our guys as long as they have them. Now they will throw a righty and take their chances with FF versus RHH Ozzie.
 
just heard on the radio, MLB has officially approved Ynoa going on the injured list. His roster spot will be taken by Dylan Lee who is available to pitch tonight

No question that TDA needs to be eighth in the lineup right now. Id rather keep Eddie at the top and flip Freddie and Ozzie but whatever.
 
I know it’s a far stretch…but we have got to get to Urias early and get into that exhausted Dodger bullpen…Urias’ arm has got to feel like it’s falling by now.
