I hope we do... I have been telling my friend that this series is reminding me of the Pistons championship versus the Lakers.. Everyone thought the Laker show would cruise but the Piston's workman like team just dismantled them. The Braves just seem to be hitting on all facets of the game. An incredible homer saved this from being a 4-0 sweep.
 
We finally got a blowout game in the end. I'm still not convinced this is over, but I like the Braves' position this time much more than last year with our three SP's on full rest.
 
It likely won't matter. But I'm curious to see who the Dodgers replace Justin Turner with on their roster today. I'm half expecting them to pull some trickery where they pick an SP we didn't expect to see and he shuts us down. Not even sure if that's possible. Obviously they have Price but he hasn't been starting. Wasn't even sure of the rules about replacing an injured player.

While a substitution for Turner’s roster spot has not yet been decided, Roberts mentioned infielder/outfielder Zach McKinstry, outfielder/first baseman Billy McKinney and infielder Andy Burns as players who were “in the mix” for the job.

I don't think that's allowed. If a position player gets hurt, pretty sure he has to be replaced by a position player. And if it's a pitcher, has to be a pitcher.
 
I expect the Dodgers to trade $500MM for Ohtani and sub him in as a position player sub. Then start him at P.

man tonight is going to be a tough game. We keep saying gassed pen, but the Dodgers didn't use Jansen, Gaterol, Knebel, or Treinen yesterday. All those guys can go 2 innings and still pitch Saturday. The question is will all four be used that way and will all 4 be effective if that is the case. We already hit Treinen and I think Knebel. Jansen gave up the game winning 'hit' to Rosey.. but also shut us down in game 3.

I don't think the Dodger$ are in bad as shape as we think.. yes they have to win 3 in a row.. but get past today and you can live and die with your studs.

if Dodgers come back and win, while beating those 3 in a row, two in Atlanta. Then they deserve it. Need to end this tonight and give them no hope.

Yeah, Roberts basically kinda punted last night not using any of his big money RP's. All of Kelly, Graterol, Vesia, Jansen, Treinen, Knebel are as rested as you can ask for. I'd imagine those are the main RP's they'll use then guys like Bickford, Bruhl, Gonsolin, Phillips mix and match later on.

Dont know which ones he'll try to ask for 2 innings from. Everyone thought the Braves were doomed after game 3 and it was a blowout, on paper Braves should be favored but baseball is a crazy game sometimes.

Definitely hoping for a few early runs on our part....have the same feeling about a potential game 5 in Milwaukee vs Burnes, rather not happen

I'd take my chances with 2 games at home but yeah, prefer to not have that happen. Dodgers arent in that bad of shape if they can find a way to win tonight's game. Scherzer even with a "dead arm" and Buehler on regular rest is as good as you can ask for.

I think we would have been cooked if the Brewers series went back to MIL. We looked lost vs Burnes.
