WS roster projection.

Starters- TDA FF Albies Swanson Riley Rosario/Duvall/Joc/Soler.
Bench- Contreras, Adrianza, Arias, Heredia.
SP- Anderson, Morton, Fried.
BP- Smyly, Chavez, Martin, Webb, Rodriguez, Lee, Minter, Jackson, Matzek, Smith.

In the NLCS, we went 14 position players, 12 pitchers, i'd try to go 13 each with the DH being there this series.

Robert’s absolutely decimated his pitching staff.

It all started going with Scherzer in Game 5 of the NLDS against the Giants. Then made a bozo move going to Urias in Game 2. Dodgers BP is deep enough, WELL deep enough to not **** around with their SP like that.

Can’t fault Roberts for how he managed the staff in the LDS.

they were playing against a team just as good and you go with your best guys and worry about the pitching lineups once you win.

On a side note.

I woke up here in Tunisia and watched that last out and celebration on loop for a solid half an hour. Could not believe it. Kinda started crying. Crazy.

Our lineup is going to be insane with the DH

Soler DH
Freeman 1B
Albies 2B
Riley 3B
Rosario LF
Duvall CF
Pederson RF
Swanson SS
d’Arnaud C

On the bench, I’d definitely leave Camargo off, he has been useless. I’d rather have a Terrance Gore for baserunning or the extra arm of Rich Rodriguez

At worst 7 playoff games of revenue, there's no excuse to not pay him.

I looked into this briefly. For just gate receipts, the Players receive 60% of the total of all the required games. That covers every playoff series. So the WC game, 3 from each DS, and 4 from each LCS and WS. That gets pooled together and each team's players get a cut of that with the WS winners getting the most. The teams that played in each series split 40% of the gate revenue from those required games. And the teams split 100% of gate receipts of any remaining games in that series. So home field doesn't really matter here. Brewers and Braves split 100% of gate receipts of game 4. Braves and Dodgers split 100% of gate receipts for games 5 and 6 of NLCS.

But that doesn't include concessions and the like plus all the Battery stuff that hopefully did well for the team.

Still, that does look to be a pretty good chunk of change for the Braves. From gate receipts alone the Braves are looking to bring in like ~20 million I believe if my quick math was right. I guess that sounds right.

Braves players throwing game 5 makes sense now, more money with another game

Man The dodger$ have a tough offseason ahead of them. FA decisions. 40 man decisions. Having to figure that Bauer thing out.

I think they'll let Jansen and Seager walk. And try to bring back Taylor, Kershaw and Scherzer. They dont really have alot of SP depth especially with Dustin May out for a good chunk of next year.
