I'm not too upset about the loss - it sucks but I agree with everyone else that splitting the road games is an overall win.
The frustrating thing is Max Fried was much better than his numbers showed. The Astros hit a ton of squibbers that got through for hits in their big four-run inning. Max did a good job keeping the ball on the ground and the defense didn't make plays and/or the shift just didn't work out for the one inning. On the other side, the offense hit laser beams all over the place and the Astros defense got to it. It probably should have been a 4-3, 3-2 kind of game. Mainly bad luck.
Oh, and the game-changer was the completely fake 3-2 ring-up of Freddie in the first. He gets on with back-to-back hits from Albies and Riley and I think we're feeling good today. Completely changed everything.
