This is why NL baseball is awful and needs to go away. An exciting rally in the World Series on national TV reduced to a joke of a PA.

All we got out of it was a recycled explanation of the “strategy in NL baseball”. As if walking Swanson to get to the pitcher qualifies as strategy.

Confession...as a lifelong fan of an NL team, I was convinced that the DH was unadulterated heresy. However, after watching our games last year (albeit with a high degree of initial skepticism) I'd be perfectly fine if baseball were to adopt a universal DH. (What's the adage about "old dogs?")
