I keep thinking I must be missing something on Jackson that explains why so many have so much faith in him. He was terrible in 17, mediocre in 18, started off 19 with a couple of excellent months, then was mediocre again for a couple of months, then finished by being excellent again for a couple of months. I have no idea where in there is the real guy, but the median seems to be "mediocre."

The more base runners, the closer you get to Goldschmidt batting in the 9th as well. All it takes is one more base runner in either the 8th or 9th for him to hit again.
