GDT #10, 4/11/'14: Braves (Teheran) vs Nats (Roark) still no Simmons

With an incompetent like Angel making the call, there was probably no point in it, but I think we all realize that if Bobby were in that dugout, he would have been ejected and dirt would be kicked. I have not been a vocal Fredi basher, but that showed a total lack of balls on his part. That could cost them the game, and deservedly so.

Like I was saying ...

i wish we can thank more than once. You'd nailed it.

We are giving this game away, terrible defense (Uggla, though Justin missed a ball a good defender catches), refused to challenge a play we would've likely had overturned by replay (if last replay I saw is used). This is embarrassing.

I assume you were saying there was no point in replay because of Angel. From my understanding its not his call the determination comes from NY.

At this point, there just needs to be a thread dedicated to circlejerking Fredi. That way, the reasonable minds on here can talk Frediology in GDTs.

Fredi has his glasses on. Do you really need glasses to see Lairdass (for the pitcher)?

This is the last thing I am going to say about this incident.

Angel Hernandez is one of the top three worst umps in baseball, you are in later innings with challenge in play, what's going to hurt if you lose? Nothing, nada, not a damn thing. If you win, you beat him and make him mortal. It is like we are afraid of challenging anything from him.

Fredi screwed the pooch on this coaching decision.
