GDT #10, 4/11/'14: Braves (Teheran) vs Nats (Roark) still no Simmons

They just showed that throw by Gattis on the wild pitch that he couldn't find, that was a great throw by him the angle he fielded it and how fast he turned to get it off (hard to believe he had time to get it to the plate in time, shows how slow LaRoche is too). Great job by Walden pointing to the ball and great catch and tag too.

Werth hurt his groin they said.

BTW, tomorrow we need to see no more BJ in the two hole and Pena or Pastornicky at second. Pastornicky needs some AB's badly, so if Simmons isn't back play him at second. If Simmons is okay then Pena or Pastornicky is fine.

I agree. We need to send another message after letting the Mets in the back door. All these early games in the division could be a good thing if we can come out with a winning record.

Way too early in the year to be sending any messages.

That Brewers series win isnt looking too bad, now is it?

Albeit early, very underrated ball club.

Disagree, beat them now and handle our own business, don't have to rely on someone else later. You do realize we are 1/3 the way through head to head after Sunday's game.

Doesnt matter if we keep dropping series to teams we should beat, like the Mets and Marlins.

Last year we were barely .500 over them.

Still, there's WAY too many games left for a message series.

The Nats came in red hot and we still beat them. I look at there lineup and a bunch of averages over .300. Then I look at ours and a bunch of averages under .200. Our pitching wasnt on tonight and the Nats were determined to win this game...

Yet, we won. I can only imagine how good this club is going to be when it gets hot.
