I think you can take the chance with one of the two-three best pitchers in baseball getting the game to Diaz. They owe it to their fans to give it a shot. Are we going to throw Muller instead of Fried with the division on the line because we "might not get to use him" in the WC?

Yup. While that’s also true for Fried, the difference is the Mets need help from Miami. DeGrom could throw a perfect game and it could be wasted
