i think they're more than a couple hitters away. they were -41 this year. they wouldn't come close to making the playoffs in a normal season. they have a bunch of bench guys starting.
this is what boomers think good trolling is. yet another boomer flaw.
"this board" isn't a single entity. i think most here don't support hitting an opposing player, and accept pimpage no matter who it comes from. it's just thoroughly enjoyable when it's your own player doing it, and it isn't when it's not.

just came down to loyalty probably. I favored letting Nick go and would have preferred Joyce.
In the end it was crap vs crap
Joyce with a 96 WRC+ and -0.3 fWAR
Neck with a 89 WRC+ and a -0.4 fWAR
Neither are good solutions and hopefully we will have better production in the OF next year.
Nobody really knows how much payroll we will be working with but I'd love to sign Joc to pair with Duvall and somehow swing Ender in a trade for Heyward.

Could be. I know they're missing Ramirez who they like. They also battled Covid as much as any team. I'm probably underestimating their offensive woes, but I really like their pitching.

That said, Matzek and Martin have both been unreal. Probably as lock down relievers as we've had since O'Ventbrel.

Marlins are really interesting, but seems like their arrival is pretty dependent on where their payroll ends up.
While you could see them having a very good pitching staff going forward, they really need Chisolm, Bleday, and Sanchez to be pretty big hits.
