GDT 10/7, NLDS Game Two, Braves-Marlins (Braves up 1-0 in the series)

I would imagine there is negative correlation between winning % and # of baseball players on your team.

Showalter is such an old white guy. He is getting fired up about all the hard nosed, bring your lunchpail to work, student of the game, first in the gym and last one to leave, type of players on the Marlins.

does he like the fact they have a bunch of bench players and AAAA guys playing?

Braves gotta find a way to work these starters a little more. Too many 2-3 pitch outs. Selectivity needs to improve.

I don’t think they are going to change their approach too much. They were aggressive in the regular season and it yielded pretty good results.

Much needed quick inning from Anderson. Would be wonderful if could find a way to deliver a quality start.

Buck talks more and says less than Chip does.

Buck, does Ian get a win for inning 2 on 12 pitches?? You frickin" arse hole.

We scored 9 runs yesterday.
Yeah, and that was nice. But Alcantara was in the 7th inning well below 100 pitches, while Fried needed 70 pitches for just 4 innings. With how well we hit their pen, it‘d be nice to get there in the 5th instead of relying on big innings late in the game.

Braves are hyper aggressive and especially with a fastball pitcher. It's just what this team does.
