I have literally aged 28 years listening to these hacks.
I have the same thoughts, but he's so effective in the Andrew Miller role I would hesitate to mess with it.
He was a starter for the Rockies.
Boomer announcer logic:
1. I don't like the new shift defenses because they are too strategically effective and limits offense.
2. I don't like the new 3 batter minimum rule because it limits a manager's ability to strategically limit the opposing offense.
Translation: I don't like new things because I'm old, and don't actually care about logic.
