GDT 10/8 NLDS Game 3: Get the brooms ready

i have faith in Slippy and so should you. it's 2020, norms are meant to be broken. i appreciate the enthusiasm and go-getter attitude displayed.

Didn’t you start a GDT this year with “Lineup to come”.

You ever see a soccer game where one player is gonna take the penalty kick, and a teammate comes up and taps him on the shoulder and demands to take it.

What happens next?

Closing day. Let's do it. Feeling today is a big one for the "Big 3" - at least two of them going yard today

The line up posted is a guess based on past line ups. No "official" line up has been posted when this thread was started.. How can you have a GDT with out an "official" line up?

Watching the Padres-Dodgers game last night, I'm suddenly less proud of 4 straight over the Reds and Fish. Those two teams are significantly better than what we've face thus far.

We were significantly better than the Cards last year and we saw how that went. I’m just glad we’re beating the teams in front of us and not choking away this opportunity.

True. Can't take any series for granted in the playoffs. Can't even take for granted beating the Fish right now with their pitching.

Bauer, Castillo, alcantara, and Lopez has been a pretty tough group of pitchers to face. Sure the reds and marlins are offensively challenged, but 5 runs in 40 ip (1.13 era) with 3 shutouts is fairly impressive

I feel like this season, we have been prepped very well for the post season.

Facing the likes of DeGrom, Scherzer, Strasberg, Sanchez, Lopez, Alcantara, Nola, Cole, etc. we have faced some very good pitching.

I am surprised how well the rotation and bullpen have been so dominant so far. And I don't think it is just because we are playing the Reds/Marlins....our bullpens stuff looks like it has hit another gear.
