GDT 10/8 NLDS Game 3: Get the brooms ready

I hope they leave Sixto in.
We are on everything or atleast our good hitters are.
Shut down inning here would really put a fork in them.

Riley has a 91 wRC+ with a .571 BABIP and a 44% k-rate in the playoffs. he looks completely overmatched, frequently. no, i am not as impressed as you are with his seeing-eye singles. he's been bad.
i don't think anyone would disagree with that re: Soto/Acuña...but that's not what your whining was about.

Lol you think he comes across as the whiner....

Ok, again, who you benching him for? If you have no better option, what's the point of temper tantrum?

I don't think anyone is "impressed" with Riley. But he's hardly been a detriment this series. Duvall on the other hand....

where do you find the statcast numbers for playoffs? Looks like they're just displaying regular season and I can't find a playoffs menu.

Gotta give AA a lot of credit for identifying franco-filipino catcher as the team's biggest area of need this past off-season.

At this point the Braves just have to hope Riley gets lucky a few times and wins a game all by himself. He’s been the same hitter from day 1, and we’ve seen the luck win a game in the past.

Nobody should be confused about what Riley is anymore.

I’m making a point to appreciate this offense, and how it kept going in the postseason. Amazed at how this BP is being utterly dominant. Shocked at how well the SP have done despite all the injuries. Then wondering how great this team would be with a healthy Soroka and Hamels.

Yep. I do think we still have a real shot at winning this whole thing.

dig up the Acuña/Soto posts. there were about 100 of them. big yikes.

They were sometime about 15 months ago... I've moved on, and maybe you should to. For the record, I was emotional (like you now) then. Trying to not be emotional anymore.
