GDT 10/8 NLDS Game 3: Get the brooms ready

I realize Wright appears to be “cruising” now against the bottom of the order, but I think it’s time to let Tomlin handle the next 1-3 innings.
 
I'd pull Wright here and go to the bullpen. He threw a solid four innings and that's what we'll need from him in his games. No need to have him get blown up next inning and leave this start with a lack of confidence.

I mildly disagree. He's got a big cushion and a low pitch count.

You can let him get into trouble and then turn to the pen if necessary.
 
When Wright has gotten into trouble it’s not from hard contact. That’s why he’s still in. He’s going to be fine.

Man, if we just add ONE guy like Stroman next year...dang. I’m not even sure now if that’s major concern at this point (if we decided to shift money to Ozuna). The horrid rotation problems have been a blessing in disguise. Anderson would have been lucky to get spot starts and definitely would have not gotten to pitch meaningful baseball (Wright likely either). If Newk, Folty and Hamels were just “ok”, it would have been like last year and we would have been stuck in pitching futility.
