Wasn't just the pitcher. Pretty much everything went wrong that inning. Mac dropped strike 3 to let Fowler on. Infield hit. Opposite field single on a ball in the dirt. Error on a routine DP ball by Freeman. Then the implosion happened.
 
true JD did have the double. Either way, he's been a big let down overall. But agreed overall Freddie performance takes Braves choking to another level of patheticness.
 
Now is the time for AA to clean out the braves way guys like Snitker, Weiss, Mac, Markakis, etc. Keep Freeman, firing Snit will light a fire under him.

I would think AA now has a mandate to walk into McGuirk's office and get approval to make management changes.
 
Of all the Braves postseason losses does this go down as the most embarrassing of the bunch? Its a very high bar but dare I say it I think we actually have exceeded the bar.

Stat experts - What has a higher probability. Blowing a 28-3 lead in the super bowl or giving up 10 runs in first inning of elimination game?
 
I've honestly lost all emotional connection with Freeman this series. Whether or not we keep him should be based solely on numbers. If we can get a kings ransom that makes us better, we should move him. If the numbers say we keep him, we keep him.

Freeman is no longer the face of this team. Acuna and Albies are.
