it's like many other examples of improvement of anything and people getting angry of "in the past, this wasn't done or an option" etc
they saw that the lies, fake news and misinformation were bad and did terrible things and decided to combat it
that a policy wasn't a thing back then and ask why said policy wasn't implemented when said policy didn't exist is silly

I'm certain that it's only a coincidence that the misinformation policy applied to every recount and fraud post now wasn't in place while the sordid and fake details of Steele were flying around. And the same must be true of the hacking policy that applies to Hunter's laptop but not to our President's tax returns. Completely coincidental. Just one of those fluke things.

What i know for certain is that you can't and won't explain why.
