Simply falling within the margin of error doesn't automatically eliminate problems with the polls. If the polls were off simply because of margin of error then you would expect them to be off both ways. Some would have Trump doing better, others would have Biden doing better. It would be random as they would be flukes of random sampling.

However, what we saw is the polls consistently were off in favor of Biden. And not off by small amounts. Off in amounts that stretch the margin of error to its limit. When you see polls consistently off in one direction there's a good chance something was wrong with the polls.

Exactly

They were all off and they were all off in one direction

he went from attacking trump like the "rabid left" with "trump derangement syndrome" to kissing his ass so much he started naming the stretch marks on it. there's a reason outside of trump being the republican leader.

Trump probably has pictures of Miss Lindsay as she is widely known in DC...

Georgia's secretary of state about an hour ago: "There 8,890 military ballots outstanding that will be counted if they are returned by the close of business today."

Where are the missing military ballots in Georgia? What happened to them?

just *listen and read* donny. i know it's nearly impossible for you, but you can do it.

i won't indulge in homophobic/sexist commentary, not for graham's sake but for other's.
he's become trump's number one fart sniffer for a reason, that much is clear. i'm not sure being homosexual would even be a good enough reason for him to cling so hard to trump's buttocks. i wonder if he's worried that reason will be revealed.

A reflection on President Trump’s comments last night:

The last President I covered who refused to accept the vote count in an election was Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in Iran, 2009.

But again, not that bad. I'm not talking about Nate Silver here, but look at the averages.

As far as consistently off in favor of Biden, consider Colorado

And minnesota

You're not wrong that pollsters need to find out what the issues are in some states. Florida and Wisconsin were for sure issues.

first let me just say Ms. Collins is an absolute treasure.
next let me say i hope staffers and those closely associated with this mess have a hard time finding jobs

The atmosphere inside the West Wing is being described as a bit frenzied as reality sets in that Biden is only pulling further ahead. Trump's closest aides seem to be working to manage his frustration. Mark Meadows is focused on Pennsylvania. And many others are looking for jobs.

I never understand why someone would wish ill on other Americans

Silver bases his projections on the polls...if it's bad polls, the projection might look bad.
in the end his projection...doesn't look bad.
Biden is going to pretty comfortably win. this race would've been called Wednesday night had PA legislature allowed votes to be counted early. it's been abundantly clear since Wednesday night that Biden was going to pull ahead in PA, eventually.
he brought up the fact that if there's a polling error close to 2016 levels...Biden would still win. that's more or less what we're seeing.

you're kidding, right?
the obtuseness continues.
all this admin did was wish ill on certain Americans. they all stood by and continued to work for an admin, a president, that blatantly wished ill on people constantly.
you yourself wish unions were weaker so more people would be fired more easily.
somehow, in your mind, i'm worse than you, or trump, for hoping that ****ty people who aided this cruel admin have to feel the consequences of it.

...lots of people split tickets in more purple areas/states....what a huge mystery we have finally solved.

As I read this my only conclusion could be that you are no better than the administration, then
