Same reason I voted in person on election day but majority of the votes were mail in. DeJoy's refusal of the court order is pretty damning imo. If he complied he would have had to commit wholesale perjury to not deliver them.

We should be able to go online and see that our ballot has been counted and who we voted for.
That's exactly what white grievance politics is...
White guy sees the brown guy given a small slice of white privilege pie, and all he can say is "what about me?????".
It was a brilliant move in all honesty. Being tactically outclassed is the Dems' biggest problem.
Turns out telling everyone how stupid they are isn't the best way to convince people of anything. A lesson I've learned myself through the years.

No mention of law and order vote which clearly resonated with working class voters (and minorities)
No mention of socialism fears from hispanics
The lesson to learn is "hispanics are white supremacists too".

I definitely thing white grievance is a subset of "me first". But it goes far beyond that. Calls for redistribution of wealth, affirmative action, farm subsidies, even stimulus packages are all permeated with "me first" politics. Americans cannot stand seeing someone else get something that they aren't getting whether what the other person gets is deserved or not.

Trump's ability to make money off his personality is legendary. He made millions by bombastically firing people on TV. It sounds ridiculous when you think about it.

Dems would be wise to stop calling folks dumb racists, and instead use their stupidity against them like the GOP has been doing successfully for decades.
While I agree with this statement in general, there are very real issues and injustices that require some folks to stand up and say "me first".
A lot of whites are threatened by the advancement of minorities, women and gays, and those people need to die of as soon as possible.
