I have no idea why ANYONE would have mailed in a ballot rather than voting early in person.
There is zero chance I trust my vote in the hands of these buffoons, and it literally took me 10 minutes to vote in person with zero line.
I suspect after this election we'll see a push for earlier mail-in ballot deadlines and for them to be counted earlier, at least in GOP controlled states. I don't think that's a bad idea. Dropping a bunch of late mail-in ballots that change an election gives the impression of fraud even when it's perfectly legitimate. The fact that so many Biden leaning strongholds are so slow in returning counts will only serve to make it more of an issue for the GOP.
I disagree. The politics of "me first" is the driving force behind everything in this country.
This is why I tried to get everyone I know to vote in person. It was clear he was trying to minimize the R vote through the mail and maximize the D vote through the mail, and then he put everything in place to try to steal it.
It was a brilliant move in all honesty. Being tactically outclassed is the Dems' biggest problem.
They never learn...

It was, but it was also telegraphed.
That's exactly what white grievance politics is...
White guy sees the brown guy given a small slice of white privilege pie, and all he can say is "what about me?????".
Even if Trump loses think about how successful the right wing network he is about to launch will become as they bitch and moan about a stolen election for years.
Pure masterstroke to cement his mouth breathing base into a loyal viewing audience. Trump may be the most gifted conman in the history of the world.

No mention of court packing scaring off moderates
No mention of law and order vote which clearly resonated with working class voters (and minorities)
No mention of socialism fears from hispanics
The lesson to learn is "hispanics are white supremacists too".
Okay. Republicans up for reelection in 2022 have to feel good about their chances.
I definitely thing white grievance is a subset of "me first". But it goes far beyond that. Calls for redistribution of wealth, affirmative action, farm subsidies, even stimulus packages are all permeated with "me first" politics. Americans cannot stand seeing someone else get something that they aren't getting whether what the other person gets is deserved or not.
