I can't imagine Ossof winning his GA seat (Warnock maybe because Loeffler is a dud).

In Georgia, only current registered voters are allowed to participate. I don't see how Ossof is going to make up 100,000 votes especially when the libertarian votes likely swing to Perdue..

Assuming Trump loses, you're going to have a lot of mad Georgia Republicans hitting the polls to get revenge. I think there's a good chance both Perdue and Loeffler win.

How will the ballot be set up? Will both republicans and both Democrats be on the ballot?

This really needs to happen. Then assuming Alaska and NC hold, that's 52-48 R.

the unknowable is turnout...does it go up? down?...there will be a lot of intensity since senate control is at stake

So who pushes Biden to 270+ first? GA? NV? PA?

i think GA and NV will both require a recount.

i'm not sure what the rules are in both states for ballots that come in after election day...that might make a difference

I think it will be PA (probably tomorrow) unless the courts halt or slow down counting there

Turnout definitely goes down. No way it matches Presidential election levels.

What I'm expecting is a mid-term election effect even though the president's term wont have started. The party (soon to be) out of power will be motivated to go vote.

Only hope i have is, Abrams narrowly lost to Kemp.

Hoping Warnock and Ossoff get downballot voters since the options are only a or b not multiple.

I'm assuming turnout peaks in a presidential election. I know senate control is as important as the presidential election, but good luck convincing voters that when they just defeated Trump.

Low turnout presumably favors Republicans, especially in GA.

Voting won’t be as high for the run off

And if trump is out etc

It will be hell of interesting to see how it goes

It's two separate races. It will be Perdue or Ossoff, then in a separate box it will be Loeffler and Warnock.

If it's as easy as it was for me Tuesday, then I should just be able to use the stylus to pick one, scroll down and pick the other, print out, scan and be done in 5 minutes.

On the senate, my miss state board was discussing it. One of the more informed posters says he doesn't think Manchin (D- WV) would side with Dems on DC statehood and getting rid of filibuster. Who knows if he's right, but hopefully he is.

Being from TN, I know next nothing on any of these, but Ossoff seems likeable enough from the few times I've seen him. What's your opinion as a Georgian?

Down ballot will be interesting for sure, especially in the Warnock race. I think its possible he wins that race, especially if R only needs to win 1 seat.

I don't see how the Libertarian vote breaks for Ossoff. A libertarian's dream governance is a split congress/executive branch which favors Perdue. Best case scenario for Ossof is they stay home.

I don't understand his vitriol. It's almost certain Biden will win. Is he frustrated that Biden didn't win by more? Is he upset the Senate isn't going as planned?

It's kind of sad. He's clearly intelligent, but he loses so much credibility by attacking rather than reasoning.

I don't need to reason anymore. Trump is out.

CRY MORE CONSERVATWIT....YOU LOST
