That high -- particularly with Trump's "China virus" routine. That made the lives of many fine folk a whole lot harder.
I honestly hope they don't indict Trump. That will set the precedent of indicting presidents when they leave office which will just get messy.

It's a pretty diverse group. The Vietnamese had similar experiences to the Cubans. So they will always be a bit more to the right.
The older Asians I know were receptive to him in 2016 but now find him to be embarrassing and repugnant.
I had a very heartfelt conversation with the owner of the Indian restaurant I patronize. The thing that upset him more than anything else was the constant lying. He wondered how his supporters had any self-respect when he was constantly lying to them. Good question.

For all his faults, and they are legion, he was (or someone was) very sharp in their strategy. Like with Hispanics in FL, the Trump campaign totally went for the Cuban and Colombian vote. Maybe he did that sort of thing within the Asian vote.
Hard disagree. No one is above the law.
Suppose a foreign national had committed a crime and was awaiting trial. This individual is very important in his home country, a country the US has tense relations with. As part of a diplomatic agreement to ease tensions, the US agrees to release this individual to return to his home country. Is that wrong? Is that person above the law?
In this scenario, the criminal is being released because there are things more important than punishing him at stake. I feel the same way about Trump. Sure NY could throw him in jail, but what will happen with Biden four years from now? For that matter, there's a reasonable chance some Republican DA might try to dig up something on Obama.
Letting Trump off the hook wouldn't be for his benefit. It would be to ease tensions and not cause shots to be fired in the future.
His campaigns have been attuned to certain things the Democrats don't really understand. One of them is many people from minority groups completely reject and are offended by identity politics. Interestingly enough, Donald Harris (Kamala's father) is one of them, even though his personal views are on the left.
I honestly hope they don't indict Trump. That will set the precedent of indicting presidents when they leave office which will just get messy.

the higher-ups and idealogues in both parties seem to fairly clueless.
yet it would benefit him greatly.
he needs to be held accountable. how insane to say otherwise.
we should let him off the hook. unreal.
