GDT: 11/3/20, Election Day, Donald J. Trump vs. Joseph R. Biden

Ah, both sides ...
The members from Ga Wis, Mich and Pa contend that they themselves were not "legally" elected.

The thing that needs to be considered in this discussion about audits is that election law in most states is specific about what triggers an audit. We depart from the rule of law if we audit based on outcome. The standards need to be consistent with the law and across elections if the law is unchanged. I can't demand an audit in Starr County based on my not liking the numbers there.

How about when chain of custody for over 300k votes can’t be produced?

It’s never made an impact in prior elections where the voting habits of minorities were pretty aligned across the nation. It won’t be exact from city to city but the variance is within a deviation at most typically.

Perhaps more people voted in person who were minorities supported trump. Realize when you fill out a ballot it doesn't ask you if you're black, white, etc. it's exit polls that do that. With the majority of mail in ballots being liberal and with big cities like Detroit, Atlanta, Philadelphia, etc. being heavy minority and heavy mail in maybe that is what the issue you're seeing.

Exit polls in 2020 are actually totally worthless.

Embracing that by refusing to seat them would actually make both sides wrong, you oaf.

"embracing" is your word.
Being discussed, and rightfully so

at some point (D) has to take a stand that enough is enough.
I was in favor of making Reagan pay a price for his complicity or negligence in Iran Contra.
I ws in favor of turning Bush/Cheney over to the world courts for war crimes and/or crimes against humanity over Iraq.
As well as at the least censuring if not expelling Rep Joe Wilson for blurting out during the POTUS address

Now we have over 100 members of Congress advocating for expelling votes in 4 states that didnt vote the way they wanted.
Nullifying millions of votes.
This is after x number of court cases were not of a like mind.
Remind me how many times those 4 states courts threw away the nonsense
And now, (D) is expected to play nice !!!!

Real life says it will go no further than discussion.
but I wish "embrace" was a real possibility
/////

Let me ask my (R) friends here, suppose the shoe was on the other foot?

We really don't have to imagine, do we it has been well chronicled.
58 times last count
///////////////////

and please with the " both sides ..."

(D) can't usurp what is rightfully the province of the people

..again, suppose the shoe was on the other foot ?
//////////

reading about this --- it was being discussed that not only does the Speaker have the right to seat or not any member but the VP as well.
I don't know about that
Writter saying the VP has authority to decide what does and doesn't come to the floor for vote/discussion

what does it mean to " preside over the Senate" ?
////

why if they have that authority didn't someone like LBJ or Cheney exercise that authority ?
///

curious what others know

it would be a serious abuse of power to do any of this

of course
that would be the outcome
but
what are the limits ?

Do they in fact have this authority ?
Could a VP Harris legally usurp the majority leaders power ?

"preside over ..."

we need to be more devious...my favored course of action is to piss them off so much that they secede...i would like to keep Georgia and Texas...but the rest can go

Atlanta now has multiple good Ethiopian restaurants, which is the mark of a serious city...so keep Georgia, especially now that it voted blue
