You dont understand why it's not a red line to "trespass" in an attempt to harm Congress specifically the second and third person in the line of succession to the President? Really? Law Enforcement gave them a mile of leeway. They played stupid games and won stupid prizes. I assure you if BLM tried to lynch Kavanaugh during his confirmation there would have been a red line where BLM would be shot.

Yeah maybe you're right.

It feels weird that public property has stricter rules than private property, but obviously threatening the life of anyone is unacceptable
