New ruling this year is you have to control it through the transfer too.
You have to show a clean transfer now according to Joe Simpson. That wasn't clean.

Yeah...they said that even at second on those double plays where the player doesn't have a clean transfer to the throwing hand the player will be safe.

Wow. Had one of those in our eight year old game today. Didn't expect to see it in the big leagues. Only difference was that the Braves were on the wrong end in our 8 yr old game. Ump called out on the transfer.
Ah, that's awful then it's going to be called a ton. It must be bc of replay. What about if u are close to bag when turning two? Replay is such a disaster.
