GDT #11, 4/12/'14: Braves (Wood) vs Nats (Jordan) Simmons back

Man do I love some good wood (where is the Asian guy screaming gay emotican?)

You have to hope this kid stays healthy with his unorthodox delivery because man he has a high ceiling.

Honestly I am leaning towards BJ not caring because he is in his physical prime and outside of his big pay day all that changed was moving to the NL. If BJ cared he would stop swinging for the fences every at bat. I bet he could hit .300 if he was willing to be a slap hitter. He needa to take the advice Chris Johnson did and just focus on hitting line drives rather than trying to hit home runs.

Way oversimplifying. Swinging for the fences is a very common trait in pressing too much, and he's been doing it since he got here. Not because he "doesn't care." It's a lot easier said than done to stop pressing. And no, he could not hit .300 regardless of anything.***

***Unless he morphed in to Mike Trout, in which case he could.
