GDT #13, 4/14/'14: Braves (Santana) vs Philthies (Hernandez); Still no CJ

Is anyone worried about the bullpen I think as of now it's pretty safe to assume that once minor and Floyd come back wood and hale are going to the pen
 
Holy cats. The collective IQ on this thread must be diminishing like HAL in 2001 when the plug was pulled. This game was put in jeopardy when the Braves stranded three runners at third early on. Avilan is the choice in the 8th because Carpenter and Walden were so heavily used in the Wash. series. Avilan has done the job since Day One, so you stick with the guy who is probably your second best reliever.

I got to be honest. The bleating by the sheep here echoing the Fredi hate has long since passed the point of entertainment. Team is tied for first, people.

You don't just keep him in. He was getting raked. We also needlessly used two relievers the previous inning. It isn't complicated. He screwed up. Where we are in the standings is irrelevant. It's poor managing to leave the guy out there.
