Fellas... He is wearing out the ice machine in the hotel keeping his knees from looking like balloons. This will be the case all year. Get over it already.

Now, let's get the brooms ready!!!!

I think it is good for him so he can last all year and be a productive hitter.

+inifinity

He needs rest from time to time. I didn't agree with the Philly thing as he could play a serviceable left field and need his bat (we lost that game and I think he would have brought us a win), but night to day game after a grueling game last night, he deserves a day off.

In reference to Gattis, go ahead and get it out of your systems now because ANYTIME there is a day game following a night game, El Oso Blanco will be on El Bencho. Put it in the books.....Put a stamp on it and email it to yo self.

David O'Brien @ajcbraves

#Braves Kimbrel said he feels better today than he did yesterday, after shaking off the rust. Fredi said he's available to pitch today.

Hasn't done it yet this year, but last year he caught day games after night games.

Probably cause the brass knew Mac was gonna be back so the added wear of that wouldn't be felt as bad.

I understand they want to keep him fresh given this is the first year he'll be the primary catcher in the majors. But I don't think there is an issue with his knees that would preclude his occasionally catching a day game after a night game.

Gattis has had bad knees since college. Just because he hasn't had 30 surgeries on them (yet) doesn't mean they are the knees of a 18 year old kid. I never bitch at a staff that values the long term health of a player.
