Fredi never lets Thomas finish anything, all the runs charged against him others have came in and gave up. Bringing Carpenter or Varvaro with runners on is asking for it. They are the type that cannot have a clean inning even at their best.
Laird is pretty terrible at framing pitches.

Also Thomas is better against righties than Varvaro is against lefties. Would have left him in against Pagan.

Thomas might be pitching himself off the team, they have to make room for Floyd this weekend and Thomas might be the move. And oh by the way, Washington just went up on Philly, so the Braves might be down to a half game after tonight, losing three games off their lead in four days. Nice going.

Fredi must be seeing whether or not Varvaro is worth keeping around. Gonna have to make a decision soon, unless Thomas gets sent down.

Laird and brayan Pena are two of the worst receivers I've ever seen.
