I don’t think Snit is a brilliant strategist, but he doesn’t have many good options in that bullpen.

The only right move he had was to bring Minter into the game once Brother loaded the bases. I’m hoping he learns as the season moves along.

I don't think anyone is asking for brilliant. Some would like more analytics. But I think what everyone can agree on is that he shouldn't make or forego moves where your average high school coach would make the right decision.

Where I think you are absolutely right is that if you have a LOOGY like Borders, he needs to be able to get LHHs out consistently.

Now we lost arguably our second best hitter for the rest of the game. Just a massively stupid decision. Is the additional certainty that much of an increase in that spot to take out a good hitter?
