Yea, it's key that the walks come on pitches down in the zone. Not all walks are created equal—and promoting the right kind of walk is really something Hernandez is on the vanguard of exploiting.

Honestly, he was so bad last year and this ST he shouldn't have even made the team. But if he's on the team you MUST only use him vs lefties. Anything else is waving the white flag IMO.
