Hearing what Weiss said about ABS challenges…I’m not sure why he and the team don’t understand the importance of leverage. How does potentially burning a challenge on a ball 1 call with no one on base in the first inning make any sense?

Well, snit jr is a fucking idiot, so obviously no thought is put into these things.

Probably not worth getting worked up about it though. Being terrible at leveraging the new ABS system isn’t a big deal. It only provides a potential way to alter a game in a big moment, so no worries. Waste them in the 1st inning.

Acuna’s new stance sucks. With the old stance that’s easily a homer because he’s on time and pulling a 91 mph fastball.
