GDT #3 April 2, 2014 Braves @ Brewers

Have been following the game on my phone. As soon as Logan Schafer got the hit, Fredi should have pulled Harang. I'm not a Fredi bobo or Fredi basher, but it's this kind of stuff that does tick me off. Harang put us in a position to win the game. Don't ask him to do anything more.

Freddi just makes these questionable decisions all the time. Bobby would have pulled him.

I don't get what the problem was. He was at 85 pitches and Lucroy was. 0-9 career vs him. It wasn't a bad move and it payed off. Get over it.

Fredi's baseball prospectus didn't mention how Harang handled pressure situations, therefore he wanted to see what he's got in case he ever gets in trouble in the 1st inning. Kinda like starting Francisco against lefties, you don't know until your try it. Sometimes you succeed and he's a genius, other times he doesn't and your an idiot.

Laird/Fredi's had to make some tough calls so far this yeah. The matchup info of Harang versus Lucroy sheds some interesting light on the decision.

You play to win at the margins when you're on the road. A win in April is equal to a win in September. It was a non-move. What I'm saying is you play your guys to their strengths and don't ask too much of them this early in the season. Harang had done his job.

Dude, 1st of all guys get tired. 2nd, it is early in the season and there is no way any of these starters are at mid season form. He had been dealing but when you get through the lineup 3 times the % of being hit hard goes way up. I understand your point but there is two sides to this argument so don't get upset because someone don't agree with you.
