AJC's new writer said last week that he'd heard April 25 was the target date to start his Gwinnett rehab assignment.
Hate to nitpick, but isn't this a particularly important point for the metrics crowd?
Certainly not comparable players, but isn't this exactly why so many of them were unconcerned when Freeman struggled? His hard-hit rate hadn't changed, so he was just getting unlucky?
Keep hitting it hard - eventually it will find holes.
Insanely small sample, but Dickerson has been laughably unlucky to start the season (wOBA minus xwOBA):

Dickerson has had some really solid stints in the majors and he’s a fine 4th OFer but he doesn’t need to be starting on a regular basis. He has really scorched the ball on occasion with nothing to show for it. Some of the fans are being a bit hard on him.
